To do an internship with Hua Hin Kitesurfing school gives you the best training according to IKO’s (international kiteboarding organization) all of our instructors is IKO certificated and we follow IKO lesson plan. This make it easy for you to adopt the way of become an IKO instructor.
Zero to hero program
The program lasts for 3 months and will take you from non-kiteboarder to the level where you are ready to do the IKO instructor exam.
We start with a 3 day beginner course where you get the basic knowledge and you get your complete equipment package. Cabrinha Vector 12m kite complete, MB Caliber board complete and Cabrinha Harness.
After the 3 day course you will practice and improve your skills supervised by an IKO instructor. You will follow the teaching together with an IKO instructor, (shadowing) learn how to teach and keep the students safe and confident.
The safety is our main thing, we are responsible for our students safety. You will be shadowing different instructors to get a wider picture of teaching. You will learn to repair kites and run a school at daily basic. You will learn to evaluate yourself, lessons and different situations. You will learn to evaluate different kite spots, weather and risk assessment.
